I’ve had many boomboxes over the years. I enjoyed collecting them, now in days though most of them just collect dust. This is a Helix HX-4636. I used this box on my first album cover for ‘ghettoblaster’ back in ‘04. Now, 9 years later it will emerge (soon to be completely gutted, painted, and transformed) as one of the many mascots for #DeathJam. 808ORDIE.

Whew! What a long strange road. What an even stranger soundtrack playing as I walk down this road.

Now, over a year later, I decided to upload the Deluxe Version of ‘BADHTSR’ that has never seen the light of day. The Deluxe version has 4 unreleased interludes made by The Astrea Corporation. It also has a (steep) extended version of “Rendition of Death” which is the last track of the album. This album flows so smooth from track to track with the new interludes. I was tempted to make no edits, just one mix, one very long sound-scape and dare to call it rap.
